Our Team

Forge's clinical care is led by licensed clinicians who believe therapy should be direct, collaborative, and grounded in evidence.

Licensed clinicians

Forge's clinicians provide individual therapy for adults, with a focus on anxiety, depression, stress, and the life transitions that knock things off balance — new chapters, hard decisions, and the practical problem-solving that gets life moving again — alongside substance use care and clinical assessments when they’re needed.

Our clinicians are trained in motivational interviewing and draw from CBT- and DBT-informed approaches, focusing on the patterns that keep clients stuck — and the concrete skills to change them. Sessions are collaborative and goal-oriented: clients always know what the work is aimed at and why. Based in Kalamazoo, we serve clients across Michigan.

Approach

What guides our work

Therapy should have a direction

Goals are set together from the start, so clients always know what they’re working toward — and whether it’s working.

More than a diagnosis

Whether someone comes in on their own or through a referral, our clinicians work with the whole person in front of them — not a label.

Change is built in steps

Insight matters, but so do practical, usable moves clients can make in everyday life. The focus stays on what’s changeable.

Honesty works both ways

We’re straightforward about the process and ask for the same: a space without judgment where clients can talk about what’s actually going on.
